With over 36 years of experience in the finance industry, Joel Wecker is a highly regarded and trusted adviser in the Northern Territory and beyond. As the Managing Director of Northern Australia Finance Group, he has consistently achieved exceptional results, earning multiple national awards for sales and operational performance. Joel’s commitment to excellence is reflected in the consistently high customer satisfaction ratings he has maintained throughout his career. He holds a Diploma in Mortgage and Finance Broking and is a Commissioner for Oaths in the NT, reinforcing his professional credibility. In addition to his extensive experience in finance, Joel has held numerous voluntary positions on boards and committees, showcasing his dedication to the industry and local community. Prior to establishing his own practice, he spent 19 years at Westpac, where he served as the Head of Westpac for the Northern Territory. Outside of work, this proud family man enjoys spending time with his wife and five sons, as well as pursuing interests such as motorsports, AFL and travel. When he’s not helping clients navigate finance, you’ll find him wetting a line on the sunny shores of Darwin, though he jokes that the only thing he catches at times is a bad sunburn!

With over 35 years of experience in the finance industry, Andrew Highman is well regarded as a trusted finance specialist. Andrew has spent most of his adult life in the Northern Territory having worked in Alice Springs and Darwin since the early 1990’s. As a managing director of Northern Australia Finance Group, he has the knowledge and experience to assist all clients achieve their finance objectives whether it be for a home loan right through to large complex commercial transactions. Prior to establishing Northern Australia Finance Group together with Joel, Andrew spent over 22 years with ANZ and more recently owned and operated the Bank of Queensland Darwin Branch for the last 14 years. He holds deep and meaningful relationships with his clients and works closely with them to ensure a seamless process with their finance needs and objectives.
